Description
Aurangabad Municipal Corporation and ASCDCL have undertaken the task of
formulating a city level Parking Policy. Urban Research Foundation as a consultant
has been appointed as a consultant to study the current parking situation in the
city and formulate a City Parking Policy. URF is working in conjunction with Mumbai
based MESN for the Policy. The project involved in-depth study and analysis of
parking situation in the city with a special focus on 5 pilot sites where the Parking
Issue is evidently grave. These pilot sites include Cannaught Area, TV Centre,
Pundlik Nagar, Nirala Bazaar and Usmanpura area.
